1.0. PROFILE

Mayor-T Unique Associates Limited was borne from the identification of a problem in the Nigerian educational system and a need for someone to rise up to the occasion. The Nigerian Educational system is in a stage of coma, as no known Nigerian University is on the world rankings and far behind in African rankings which become evident as the Nigerian student could not compete head shoulder with their counterparts in other parts of the world in research, knowledge and practice. 


Employers of labour are also complaining of the level of productivity and low level of practical experience of the Nigerian graduates as most are stuffed with theories and lack pragmatic approach in application. This has been a burden in the minds of the Mayor-T group of company and has since started underground network supplying Nigerian Institutions with Science and Practical equipment with which most of our Institutions lack its adequacy. In addition, Mayor T Associates Limited has been empowering the Nigerian youths through motivational talks and skill acquisition programmes in form of training in the use of various Geological, Engineering and Laboratory equipment (like is shown in the picture to the left) in collaboration with University Professors from various fields. The organization came into formal existence in 2000.


WHO WE ARE

Mayor-T Unique Associates Limited is an organization of young professionals set to proffer solutions to the issues of illiteracy, poor education, unemployment and application of theoretically acquired institutional scientific knowledge for personal and economic development plus adequate improvement in the supply and use of science Equipment within Institutions of learning and corporate organizations in Nigeria.

OUR VISION
    • To produce a generation of Job creators than Job seekers
    • To help restructure/ re-orientate the educational sector to be scientifically knowledge driven with pragmatic approach.
    • To see a society where knowledge will be valued, acquired and used for personal and national development.
    • To encourage, expose and drive indigenous technology and inventions for national development
    • To drastically reduce the incidence of unemployment among youths in the nation by 2020.

OUR MISSION
  1. Provide detailed information and training on field equipment.
  2. Equipping Laboratory and Engineering workshops.
  3. Organizing seminars and training on how the equipment is used.
  4. Encouraging field work to locate where some of the equipment is used industrially
  5. To participate in the development of students in their field of specialization in order that they may acquire sound Theoretical Knowledge enhancing students’ ability to set and achieve goals.
  6. Helping students to identify and develop their talents and potentials.
  7. Improving self-esteem for greater performance.
  8. Providing information, opportunities and exposure that will help advance students
  9. Drive the psychology of our students towards knowledge acquisition for personal and national development.
OUR PROGRAMS
  1. Life coaching. (career counselling, training, seminars and mentorship)
  2. Organizing challenging but motivational physical and intellectual contests
  3. Delivering motivational talks
    4. Proffering consulting services to government on how to improve on Science Research
